Hot drinks & softies
Coffee: No decent café bar would offer poor coffee and we are no exception, but we did want to go beyond just providing great speciality coffee. We are supplied by Clifton Coffee Roasters in Bristol. The E1 Project coffee that we will be serving is directly sourced from Finca Y Beneficio Buena Vista farm in El Salvador. This means that Clifton works directly with the farmer, Ricardo Lima. No middle man. This gives us the assurance that the farmer is receiving a fair price and there is full traceability from farm to cup. I would encourage you to read more about where the coffee you will be drinking comes from.
Tea: First thing in the morning, only a strong black 'builders' blend will do. For that British brew, we will be providing good ole Yorkshire Tea. We will also be offering a range of herbal and fruit teas from Canton Tea. Their high quality tea are packed in clear bags, so you can see exactly what is inside. Similar to Clifton Coffee Roasters, Canton Tea works closely with the farmer.
Soft Drinks: We are not quite so independent that we don't/wont sell Coca Cola, but I don't think there is much we can tell you that you don't know already. It's Coca Cola. However, we do have some interesting alternatives:
- Dalston Cola. All the way from Dalston, East London. Apart from the cola, made with real cola nuts, we will also provide their orangeade and lemonade.
- Cawston Press
- Mr Fitzpatrick's cordials. We have a large range of their high quality cordials, including blood tonic, which thankfully tastes not at all scary. They can be mixed with either sparkling water or sparkling wine. The choice is yours!
